John Clarke is a Training Associate for Thinking Collaborative (Maximizing Capacity in Individuals and Organizations). He has provided Cognitive Coaching and Adaptive Schools Foundation and Advanced Seminars in Canada, the United States, Australia and South Korea. He works with Corporate and Health Care Organizations, and School Districts in the areas of Leadership Development, Change Management, Communication Skills and the creation and sustainability of effective professional communities. John has delivered keynote and motivational presentations at conferences and conventions across Canada and the United States for over 30 years.
As a Training Associate for Thinking Collaborative (www.thinkingcollaborative.com) he is also authorized to offer seminars on Presenting Skills, Facilitation Skills, Teacher Leader and Calibrating Conversations.
John is also a consultant with Thought Architects, a collaborative based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Thought Architects provides multi-faceted consulting and coaching resources to corporate, community and health care clients to create adaptive, resilient and impactful professional organizations. John provides virtual coaching, facilitation services, and leadership and organizational webinars.
John has presented sessions on the creation of positive and productive professional cultures for ASCD, Learning Forward (NSDC) and NASSP, and at conventions in over 20 provinces and states. He was a teacher, counselor, department head, assistant principal and principal with the Calgary Board of Education for 31 years. He holds A Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Western Ontario, a Bachelor of Education and a Masters of Education from the University of Calgary.
John is a songwriter, musician, sailor and horseman. His most prized role is as father and grandfather.
