Alice Konig
Alice Koning grew up in Calgary, did her post-secondary schooling in Victoria (UVic, BSc Physics & Astronomy) and Edmonton (UAlberta, MSc Physics & Astronomy), and has been living in Red Deer since 2015.
In Red Deer, Alice has had the opportunity to teach the introductory astronomy course at Red Deer Polytechnic for three semesters. She has found her long-term professional home with the Waskasoo Environmental Education Society, where she is passionate about teaching people of all ages and backgrounds about Central Alberta's natural and cultural history.
Terry Lakey
Terry Lakey is currently working with First Nations, Metis, and Inuit Learning Services in Red Deer Public Schools. Prior to joining Red Deer Public Schools in 1999, he taught with Northlands School Division. Since joining Red Deer Public Schools, he has taken on several roles.
